About Us

The death of a child is a profound loss, it is unimaginable and devastating. It is against the natural order in which we all believe things are supposed to happen. Lives are shifted in ways you never would imagine. Parent's often lose themselves completely and they are never the same. In turn the parents are grieving the loss of their child and the loss of themselves. The parents will often feel alone and out of place. Many times there are siblings left behind to grieve the loss as well. These children lost a sibling and also the normalcy that they once knew.  Both the parent and surviving children now have to learn how to live with this new life that they didn't ask for (often referred to as the new normal). This isn't easy at all. Many suffer from anxiety, PTSD, depression, etc. Many suffer in silence because they don't want to burden anyone with their sadness.  Parents and siblings often pretend they are okay.
